About the event

South Island Branch of the SPK (Memorial Association of Polish Combatants and Victims of Communist and Fascist Repressions) invites You, Your Family and Friends for the annual Run/Walk "Wolf’s Trail”.

We will commemorate the soldiers of the Polish anti-communist underground who did not agree with Poland to be ruled by communists brought from the Soviet Union and fought for independence between 1944 and 1963.

We will also remember numerous victims of communist terror, including the heroic Colonel Witold Pilecki, a Home Army soldier who organized the resistance movement in KL Auschwitz and was murdered by the communist authorities of the Polish People's Republic in 1948. Let’s never forget them!

The event will take place in Spencer Park and in the Spencer Park Surf Life Saving Club  (address: 50 Heyders Rd, Spencer Park Beach, Spencerville).

The beginning: 2 pm, on Sunday, March 8, parking near Spencer Park Surf Life Saving Club.
